Condo Living in West End
Bordering the beaches of English Bay and neighbour to the beautiful Stanley Park, the West End is a wonderful neighbourhood in which life and work can truly become one. There is a great community feel to enjoy and always something interesting happening, whether it’s live music at International Jazz Festival, Celebration of Light, or the Beach Shakespeare Festival. Take a stroll or a bike ride along the promenade and you'll see terraced homes overlooking the water, not to mention a beautiful sunset. This is definitely a spot to watch for new Vancouver condos.
Some good places to grab a bite are Greenhorn Cafe, Cardero Bottega or McDonald's. Venture a little further for a meal at one of the neighbourhood's restaurants. If you love coffee, you're not too far from Starbucks located at 1661 Davie St. Groceries can be found at Popcorn at the Park which is nearby and you'll find Denman Chiropractic a 3-minute walk as well. Entertainment is close by, with Scotiabank Theatre Vancouver and Theatre Under Stars Musical a 9-minute walk. With Roedde House Museum not far from your door, you'll always have something to do on a day off or weekend. You are not far from great parks like Barclay Heritage Square Park and Alexandra Park.
Without a car, you can get around quite easily. The closest transit stop is a BusStop (Eastbound Davie St @ Nicola St) and is not far, but there is also a Subway stop, Burrard Station Platform 1, only a 11 minute walk connecting you to the TransLink. It also has (Bus) route 006 Davie/downtown nearby.
