Known commonly as “Kits”, this West Side neighbourhood has a long history of being Vancouver’s hippy hangout, and while the hippies have traded in their tie-dye shirts for yoga pants and laptops, the relaxed and welcoming vibe remains the same. Life is booming in Kitsilano, with the new projects like Kitswest, The Westerly, and Pinnacle Living on Broadway, which are all outstanding additions to the condo market in Vancouver.

Some good places to grab a bite are Cafe Lokal, Uno Gelato or Dark Table. Venture a little further for a meal at one of the neighbourhood's restaurants. If you love coffee, you're not too far from Starbucks located at 2733 Broadway W. If you're an outdoor lover, you are only a 5 minute walk from Connaught Park and Tatlow Park.

If you are reliant on transit, don't fear, there is a Bus Stop (Eastbound W 4th Ave @ Trafalgar St) a short walk. It also has route Powell/downtown/ubc, route Nanaimo Station/dunbar, and more nearby.
