Separated from East Cambie by Highway 99, West Cambie is a smaller community seated north of Richmond City Centre and directly across from the Vancouver International Airport.

Residents will find local shopping outlets near the intersection of No. 3 Road and Cambie Road, as well as a smattering of sushi and Chinese food restaurants. Most of the Richmond condos for sale in West Cambie are mid-rise buildings and townhouse communities, while new high-rise developments are on the way. The neighbourhood enjoys a sprinkling of urban parks, not far from Richmond Nature Park where inviting walking trails and a wide variety of wildlife provide an excellent place for families at all stages to enjoy the outdoors. There are two elementary schools in the area, plus Cambie Secondary School and Kwantlen University College.

Highway 99 and No. 3 Road run through West Cambie, providing drivers smooth routes north into Metro Vancouver and south across Richmond. There is also the local Aberdeen Train Station that connects to Richmond City Centre.

Some good places to grab a bite are Nu Chinese Bistro, Mak's Noodle Restaurant or Garden City Hot Pot Restaurant. Venture a little further for a meal at one of the neighbourhood's restaurants. If you love coffee, you're not too far from Bubble Queen Cafe located at 8888 Odlin Cres. Without a car, you can get around rather easily. It also has route Gilbert/bridgeport nearby.
