Highgate is an established residential community that is notably popular among new Canadian families. The area offers a good mix of housing options between modern high-rise condos and other boutique townhouse developments. Most of the Burnaby condos for sale in Highgate are clustered around the major thoroughfare of Kingsway, as well as in the south end of the neighbourhood.

Alternatively, the SkyTrain transit line runs pretty much parallel to Kingsway, with local stations at Edmunds and Royal Oak and smooth connection to Downtown Vancouver.

Grab your morning coffee at Tim Hortons located at 6641 Kingsway. Groceries can be found at Deer Lake Market which is a 6-minute walk and you'll find Save On Foods only a 7 minute walk as well. Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre is only at a short distance away. You are only a 4 minute walk from great parks like Rene Memorial Park, Edmonds Park and Ron Mclean Park.

Transit riders take note, you are not far to the closest TransLink BusStop (Northbound Walker Ave @ Morley St) with (Bus) route 133 Holdom Station/edmonds Station. Edmonds Station Platform 1 Subway is also a 13-minute walk.
