There is quite a bit of construction happening in The Core, with new Toronto condo towers growing out of once abandoned land and Historic Buildings like Union Station getting expanded and tidied up. There has been steady growth in The Core for the past few years and that growth is set to continue for some time to come. The Financial District is at the heart of this Downtown neighbourhood and although it's frequently thought of as a Concrete Jungle, there is an amazing amount of green space around, great for grabbing lunch to go and stretching your legs on a beautiful summer day.

The Core is home to the world famous CN Tower, once the tallest freestanding structure in the world as well as the new Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, which has been generating quite a buzz since it opened in late 2013.
