Queen West has long been one of the hippest neighbourhoods in Toronto and that isn’t about to change any time soon. From the hottest Live Music venues to the coolest clothing stores, Queen West has it all. Toronto condo Life is booming, with numerous new projects in the planning stages and some just completing. This is one of the hottest neighbourhoods in Downtown, with a healthy Average Price Per Square Foot, that has consistently been on the rise for the past 10 years.
Most condos in Queen West have a walk score of 95 or higher, which means anything you can think of is easily available, sometimes 24 hrs a day. If you’re in a cultural mood, some of the best Art Gallery’s can be found dotted all along the western stretch of the neighbourhood, or West Queen West, as the locals call it. Grab a coffee in one of the many independent cafés, spend the afternoon soaking up the sun over in Trinity Bellwoods Park or dine in some of the hottest restaurants in Toronto. Then there is the shopping. Not that you’d want to leave but Queen West is situated close to some great neighbourhoods like Kensington Market if you’re up for vintage shopping and organic produce or over to Roncesvalles for some perogies.
Getting around Queen West is easy. The famous 501 streetcar cuts a path along the length of Queen St connecting to the Yonge-University-Spadina subway line. The Gardiner Expressway is a quick trip down Spadina Ave and that connects with the rest of Toronto.
