The North Vancouver District neighbourhoods of Delbrook and Upper Lonsdale are both largely residential areas, with an abundance of park space, beautiful hiking and biking trails, and a wide range of recreational amenities.
The area has gone through major transformations over the years, and today you’ll find many Vancouver condos for sale here that have been designed for the lifestyles of retirees and seniors. When it comes to getting around in Delbrook | Upper Lonsdale, residents will benefit from owning their own vehicle. That being said, there are local bus routes that service the neighbourhood. For trips over to Downtown Vancouver, there are two options with comparable travel times, the Lions Gate Bridge to the west along Highway 99 and the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge to the east following the TransCanada.
Groceries can be found at Delbrook Superette which is an 8-minute walk and you'll find Delbrook Chiropractic only a 9 minute walk as well. If you're an outdoor lover, you are a short distance away from Rockland Park and St Albans Park.
Without a car, you can get around quite easily. It also has route Upper Lonsdale/lonsdale Quay, and route Upper Lonsdale/downtown nearby.
