The North Vancouver District neighbourhoods of Delbrook and Upper Lonsdale are both largely residential areas, with an abundance of park space, beautiful hiking and biking trails, and a wide range of recreational amenities.

The area has gone through major transformations over the years, and today you’ll find many Vancouver condos for sale here that have been designed for the lifestyles of retirees and seniors. It’s a quaint, touristy community, with a lot of local shops, artist galleries, and parks. The Delbrook Community Recreation Centre can be found at the corner of Delbrook Avenue and West Queens Road, where it offers a range of programs from the performing arts to sports, as well as Early Years Pre-School and Kids’ Club.

When it comes to getting around in Delbrook | Upper Lonsdale, residents will benefit from owning their own vehicle. That being said, there are local bus routes that service the neighbourhood. For trips over to Downtown Vancouver, there are two options with comparable travel times, the Lions Gate Bridge to the west along Highway 99 and the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge to the east following the TransCanada.

Groceries can be found at Delbrook Superette which is a 9-minute walk and you'll find Pelly Clinic a 9-minute walk as well. For those days you just want to be indoors, look no further than Monika's Art Boutique to keep you occupied for hours. You are a short distance away from great parks like Rockland Park and Monteray Park.

Transit riders take note, you are only steps away to the closest Bus Stop (Southbound Prospect Rd @ W Rockland Rd) with route Upper Lonsdale/lonsdale Quay, and route Upper Lonsdale/downtown.
