Condo Living in Strathcona

Situated only a few steps away from Downtown Vancouver, Strathcona is the oldest and culturally diverse area in the city. It was slated to be demolished in the 1950s, but the strength and commitment of the community, largely Chinese, petitioned to save their streets and homes. Today, Strathcona is a perfect example of old and new co-existing, with some of the best modern condos in Vancouver and funky historic loft conversions.

Some good places to grab a bite are Fed, Papa Johns or Subway. Venture a little further for a meal at one of the neighbourhood's restaurants. If you love coffee, you're not too far from Starbucks located at 753 Terminal Ave. Groceries can be found at Man-Kwong Enterprises which is only a 4 minute walk and you'll find Strathcona Community Dental Clinic a 7-minute walk as well. Entertainment is close by, with Electric Co Theatre and Neworld Theatre Society a 9-minute walk. You are only a 3 minute walk from great parks like Strathcona Park and Trillium Park.

Getting around the area is made simple. There is Westbound Terminal Ave @ Begg St Bus Stop, not far, with route Knight/downtown nearby.
