Condo Living in Strathcona

Situated only a few steps away from Downtown Vancouver, Strathcona is the oldest and culturally diverse area in the city. It was slated to be demolished in the 1950s, but the strength and commitment of the community, largely Chinese, petitioned to save their streets and homes. Today, Strathcona is a perfect example of old and new co-existing, with some of the best modern condos in Vancouver and funky historic loft conversions.

There are quite a few restaurants to choose from. Some good places to grab a bite are Tacomio and To Dine For Eatery. Venture a little further for a meal at Come Arepa, La Bohème or Rolling Cashew. If you love coffee, you're not too far from Starbucks located at 753 Terminal Avenue. Groceries can be found at Benny Foods which is a 5-minute walk and you'll find Buckshon's Pharmacy only a 8 minute walk as well. Omnimax Theatre is only at a short distance away. For nearby green space, Trillium Park, Strathcona Linear Park and MacLean Park could be good to get out of your home and catch some fresh air or to take your dog for a walk.

If you are reliant on transit, don't fear, there is a TransLink BusStop (Westbound Terminal Ave @ Begg St) not far. It also has (Bus) route 022 Knight/downtown nearby. Main Street-Science World Station Platform 1 Subway is also a 8-minute walk.
