Located on Lulu Island in the southwest of the Metro Vancouver area, Richmond has the fourth largest population in British Columbia. The city itself is comprised of many neighbourhoods spanning from the Pacific coast to the inland community of Queensborough, with a wide range of housing options from single-family homes to modern Vancouver condos for sale and for rent.

The coastal communities such as Seafair and Steveston enjoy a vibrant waterfront vibe known for seaside recreations, tourist attractions such as whale-watching, and a lot of great sushi restaurants. Over in East Richmond, a more rural character springs to life across the Agricultural Land Reserve where cranberries, blueberries, and other crops are grown on over 250 local farms. The charming hamlet of Hamilton holds down the eastern corner, offering a nice place for quiet living. The commercial side of Richmond can be found in the City Centre | Brighouse neighbourhood along No. 3 Road. The area is officially known as the Golden Village, and it’s home to almost a dozen shopping malls, with plans in the works for future development to improve transit connectivity along the Canada Line rail system.

Speaking of connectivity, Richmond is also home to the Vancouver International Airport on Sea Island. Highway 91 and 99 run through Richmond providing smooth routes for trips around the whole Metro Vancouver area.
