You make your way along the north bank of the Fraser River, past the rolling greens of Fraserview Golf Course, towards Victoria Drive where the plan is to meet some friends at 49th Avenue and go out for sushi. Afterwards, you’re heading to a friend’s place in Marpole for a BBQ, but there’s no rush. Maybe you’ll go shopping first, maybe take a walk in the park. The choices are yours. This is your home.

Spanning across the north shore of the Fraser River, South Vancouver is an area known for its cultural diversity, natural landscapes, and trendy commercial centres. From Killarney in the east to Kerrisdale in the west, with the popular Victoria-Fraserview right in the middle, it’s home to many growing residential neighbourhoods, as well as a booming scene of Vancouver condos.

The residential vibe of the area is enriched with a good mix of natural outdoor spaces and trendy commercial hubs across the main streets. You can enjoy getting lost on a hike through Everett Crowley Park, or visit one of the many urban parks for a sunny Saturday picnic. For some great food and shops, head over to the Punjabi Market in Sunset, or check out the boutiques, cafes, and restaurants along Victoria Drive. Not to mention some excellent golf courses for all avid lovers of the Links. When it comes to Vancouver condos for sale, here, there are numerous projects and more on the way, though the area is still mostly single-family homes.

But living in a South Vancouver condo is becoming ever more popular, with condo and loft developments appearing along the Fraser River, as well as a growing demand in Marpole. The ease and access to the city, with Kingsway, Knight Street, and Highway 99, make South Vancouver an ideal spot for commuters working Downtown. Plus, the city’s unique SkyTrain service makes public transit smooth and simple.

Groceries can be found at Real Canadian Superstore which is only a 10 minute walk and you'll find Mann Ranbir S Dr not far as well. Love being outside? Look no further than Park and Winona Park, which are both only steps away.

If you are looking for transit, don't fear, there is a Bus Stop (Northbound Main St @ E 59 Ave) a 3-minute walk.
