The schools in this Scarborough neighbourhood are worth noting because there are quite a few of them, plus certain schools such as Bridlewood Jr. Public School have celebrated past students like Mike Myers, Eric McCormack, and David Furnish.

For those times when you want to get out of town or pop into Downtown Toronto, the area enjoys the service of local bus routes along Kennedy Road and Sheppard Avenue with connection to the Don Mills Subway Station. The Agincourt GO Train Station provides commuter service in the mornings to Union Station. For drivers, the area is car-friendly with easy access to the 401 and 404 Highways via Sheppard Avenue.
