Immersed in the broader neighbourhood of York Mills, this affluent, family-friendly community is known for its large mansions and natural green spaces. It’s a popular area for first-time buyers, with many mid-rise Toronto condos for sale along Yonge Street.

Green space is a big part of this North York neighbourhood, as residential developments are designed to integrate into the natural landscape. There are many parks throughout the area, as well as a branch of the Don River Valley along which you’ll find the Don Valley Golf Course. For shopping and commercial outings, the area is equal distance between Yorkdale Shopping Centre and CF Shops at Don Mills. Alternatively, Yonge Street offers a range of stores and restaurants, including the historic Miller Tavern for seafood and steak.

While the area is more readily accessible with a car, the York Mills Station on the Yonge-University subway line is the neighbourhood transit hub for trips into Downtown Toronto. Not far from Highway 401, drivers in St. Andrew | Windfields will find it pretty easy to get around.

If you are looking for transit, don't fear, there is a Bus Stop (Bayview Ave at Fife Rd) a 5-minute walk. If you're driving, you'll have easy access to the rest of the city by way of Hwy 401 as well, which is within a 4-minute drive using Bayview Ave ramps.
