So much is happening in Mount Pleasant East, it’s hard to know where to begin. From the posh food markets and antique stores on Mount Pleasant to the laidback cafes and sidewalk patios on Bayview, plus the remarkable Mount Pleasant Cemetery, this is one of the most sought-after neighbourhoods in the city. With glorious tree-lined residential streets, the boom of Toronto condos hasn’t changed the landscape too much, with a handful of boutique condos that fit right in with the neighbourhood.
The 1,200-acre Mount Pleasant Cemetery is certainly one of this Midtown neighbourhood’s main draws, with its beautiful landscaping, numerous walking and biking trails and picturesque views. It’s a great place to wander through or take a picnic for the afternoon. There are a number of boutiques and interesting curio shops lining Mount Pleasant Road, as well as some delicious restaurants to check out. If you are after a bit more entertainment head over to Yonge Street for more amazing restaurants, bars, cinemas, and comedy clubs.

If you’re wanting to go further afield, there are many bus routes passing through at various points plus the Yonge and Davisville subway station. Drivers will be pleased that there is easy access from Bayview to the Don Valley Parkway, which will take you anywhere you'd want to go.
There are quite a few restaurants to choose from. Some good places to grab a bite are Trattotia Gusto and The Belsize Public House. Venture a little further for a meal at Ozzero, Churrasco Villa Toronto's Original or Sweet Shady Shack. If you love coffee, you're not too far from At Origin Coffee located at 687 Mt Pleasant Road. Groceries can be found at Kenpik Bulk Shop which is not far and you'll find Rexall Pharma Plus only a 10 minute walk as well. Mount Pleasant Cinema and Regent Theatre are both in close proximity and can be a great way to spend some down time. If you're an outdoor lover, you are a 6-minute walk from Eglinton Park, Sherwood Park and Moore Park Ravine.
If you are looking for transit, don't fear, there is a TTC BusStop (MT PLEASANT RD AT MANOR RD EAST) not far. It also has (Bus) route 141 Downtown/mt.pleasant Express, and (Bus) route 74 Mount Pleasant nearby. EGLINTON STATION - NORTHBOUND PLATFORM Subway is also a 10-minute walk. Residents also have decent access to Don Valley Parkway, which is within a few minutes drive using Don Mills Rd ramps.
