Located between Allen Road and Bathurst Street, Englemount | Lawrence is a North York neighbourhood developed in the 1940’s with many single-family homes and mid-rise apartment buildings. Most of the Toronto condos for sale here are found along Bathurst Street, alongside a wide range of retail outlets, local bakeries, and restaurants.

At the corner of Lawrence and Bathurst, residents will find Lawrence Plaza, a local shopping mall with key stores like The Bay and Winners. It was opened in the 1950’s and has served the neighbourhood as the go-to commercial centre since then, even garnering a visit from Queen Elizabeth II. There are several nearby outdoor spaces such as Cedarvale Park south of Eglinton, featuring a dog park and a big hill for winter tobogganing, and Sherwood Park east of Yonge Street for nice nature walks.

Lawrence West Station is the closest TTC service, running north to Downsview and south into Downtown Toronto. For drivers, Eglinton Avenue is a reliable east/west thoroughfare, while Allen Road connects directly to the 400-series highways for trips around and outside the city.

There are a lot of great restaurants. If you can't start your day without caffeine fear not, your nearby choices include Tim Hortons. For groceries there is Lollicakes which is a 5-minute walk.

If you are looking for transit, don't fear, there is a Bus Stop (Varna Dr at Tundra Lane) not far. It also has route Ranee, and route Lawrence Manor nearby. For drivers, it might be easier to get around the city getting on or off Allen Rd and Flemington Rd, which is only a 2-minute drive.
