There are both public and Catholic schools in the neighbourhood, as well as local outdoor spaces such as McCowan Park in the south and the scenic Knob Hill Park where playgrounds and nature will give kids a great place to stretch their legs and play with friends.

The main thoroughfare for getting around is Eglinton Avenue with bus routes to Kennedy Subway Station. As well, the Eglinton GO Train Station connects the Lakeshore East line with Union Station in Downtown Toronto.
