Situated between Bloor Street and College Street in the heart of Toronto’s West End, Dufferin Grove is a community-minded neighbourhood which consists of tree lined streets, single-family homes, as well as a smattering of Toronto condos and Toronto loft conversions. With a history dating back to the 1700s, the area is still growing and changing with some new condo projects on the way, which is making it more attractive to young professionals eager to be close to downtown but still have the laid back West End vibe.

There is a multitude of cafes and restaurants lining Bloor and College streets causing quite a stir in the Toronto dining scene. The weekly Farmers Market at Dufferin Grove Park is an institution in the neighbourhood and is run year round on a Thursday, indoors in the winter months and outdoors in summer. Dufferin Mall draws people to Dufferin Grove as well and is a perfect place to pick up groceries or spend a rainy day. There are numerous neighbourhoods within walking distance such as Toronto’s Little Italy and Roncesvalles for great dining and fun cafes and bars.

No less than three subway stations along the Bloor-Danforth line are accessible if you live in a Dufferin Grove condo and the College Streetcar line will take you all the way from High Park to Main Street station in the East End.

Without a car, you can get around quite easily. It also has route Parkdale nearby. If you're driving, you'll have decent access to the rest of the city by way of Gardiner Expressway as well, which is within a few minutes drive getting on and off at Dowling Ave.
