Separated from East Cambie by Highway 99, West Cambie is a smaller community seated north of Richmond City Centre and directly across from the Vancouver International Airport.

Residents will find local shopping outlets near the intersection of No. 3 Road and Cambie Road, as well as a smattering of sushi and Chinese food restaurants. Most of the Richmond condos for sale in West Cambie are mid-rise buildings and townhouse communities, while new high-rise developments are on the way. The neighbourhood enjoys a sprinkling of urban parks, not far from Richmond Nature Park where inviting walking trails and a wide variety of wildlife provide an excellent place for families at all stages to enjoy the outdoors. There are two elementary schools in the area, plus Cambie Secondary School and Kwantlen University College.

Highway 99 and No. 3 Road run through West Cambie, providing drivers smooth routes north into Metro Vancouver and south across Richmond. There is also the local Aberdeen Train Station that connects to Richmond City Centre.

There are quite a few restaurants to choose from. Some good places to grab a bite are Hao's Lamb Restaurant and Top Gun J & C Restaurant. Venture a little further for a meal at Garden City Hot Pot, Hana Cafe or Kam Ho Noodle Express. If you love coffee, you're not too far from Bean Around the World Coffees located at 8580 Cambie Rd. Groceries can be found at China World Supermarket which is only steps away and you'll find Real Canadian Superstore a 9-minute walk as well. If you're an outdoor lover, you are only a 5 minute walk from Aberdeen Park, Larry Berg Flight Path Park and Richmond Nature Park.

Without a car, you can get around rather easily. The closest transit stop is a BusStop (Northbound Garden City Rd @ Odlin Rd) and is only steps away, but there is also a Subway stop, Aberdeen Station Platform 2, only a 8 minute walk connecting you to the TransLink. It also has (Bus) route 407 Gilbert/bridgeport nearby.
