The neighbourhoods within Thompson | Seafair | Blundell are all well-established communities with a lot of single-family homes and modern Richmond condos for sale in midrise buildings and townhouse complexes.

With some older, tree-lined streets and a sprinkling of urban parks, these neighbourhoods should really appeal to young families. There are several central shopping plazas in the area, such as Blundell Shopping Centre and Seafair Shopping Centre for most of your home basics, while the nearby commercial malls of Richmond City Centre and the big brand stores like Costco and IKEA in Bridgeport offer more options. Some exciting sites to explore include Terra Nova Rural Park and the Adventure Playground, two great places to stretch your legs and enjoy the stunning B.C. scenery. Adding to the appeal for young families, there are many elementary schools throughout these neighbourhoods and several local secondary schools as well.

Local bus routes make this area easy to travel, but for longer trips into Metro Vancouver, the Richmond-Brighouse Station on the Canada Line is the best bet.

Groceries can be found at Charles Magic Dessert which is a 5-minute walk and you'll find West Richmond Dental Centre a 10-minute walk as well. You are not far from great parks like Grauer Neighbourhood School Park and Park.

Getting around the area is made simple. There is Southbound Railway Ave @ Lancing Rd Bus Stop, not far, with route Richmond Brighouse Station/steveston nearby.
