Lynn Creek combines the natural wilderness appeal of North Van with the growing urban character of North Vancouver City, offering a variety of both high-rise Vancouver condos as well as mid-rise and townhouse style complexes.
Many of the condos for sale in Lynn Creek can be found near Keith Road and Mountain Highway, a short distance to the commercial outlets along Main Street for an array of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. There are also many parks in the neighbourhood from Seymour Creek Golf Centre in the south-east to Inter River Park in the north, where residents can enjoy easily accessible hiking trails as well as a BMX bike park. One of the main attractions in the area is the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre, home to a century-old forest with natural swimming holes and the 160ft Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge. Drawing a lot of tourists each year, the park is also a prime spot for weekend excursions for students at nearby Capilano University.
Although owning a vehicle is beneficial for living in North Vancouver District, Lynn Creek enjoys regular public transit service from the Phibbs Exchange bus station located near Main Street and Highway 1. For trips across the harbour to Downtown Vancouver, the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge is the closest route, also connecting to Burnaby’s Metrotown.
Nearby restaurants are few and far between. Venture a little further for a meal at one of the neighbourhood's restaurants. If you love coffee, you're not too far from Delany's Coffee located at 1277 Lynn Valley Rd. Groceries can be found at Nourish Market which is a 14-minute walk and you'll find Safeway a 13-minute walk as well. If you're an outdoor lover, you are only a 12 minute walk from Lynn Canyon Park, Pioneer Park and Bridgman Park.
Without a car, you can get around rather easily. The closest transit stop is a BusStop (Northbound Hoskins Rd @ Greenock Place) and is a short walk, but there is also a Subway stop, Gilmore Station Platform 1, a 8-minute drive connecting you to the TransLink. It also has (Bus) route 227 Lynn Valley Centre/phibbs Exchange nearby.
