Situated to the west of North Vancouver City, Lions Gate is an established residential neighbourhood that borders the Capilano River as well as the TransCanada Highway. The Lions Gate Bridge on Highway 99 is the main connection to Downtown Vancouver, while the SeaBus ferry service at the Lonsdale Quay offers a pedestrian-only alternative to get across the harbour.

Without a car, you can get around quite easily. The closest transit stop is a BusStop (Eastbound Marine Dr @ Philip Ave) and is a 3-minute walk, but there is also a Subway stop, Waterfront Station Platform 1, a 4-minute drive connecting you to the TransLink. It also has (Bus) route 239 Capilano University/park Royal, (Bus) route 240 15th Street/vancouver, and more nearby.
