The neighbourhood of Glanbrook constitutes the south-western corner of Hamilton, and is best known for its aviation related history and as the home of the John C. Munro International Airport.
The previous municipality of Glanbrook was formed from two communities, Glanford and Binbrook, both of which have remained largely rural. As the city of Hamilton continues to expand, however, these communities are likely to experience new developments with many new Hamilton condos for sale.
Two-lane county roads are the norm in Glanbrook, with Highway 6 providing the fastest route to surrounding areas. Highway 403 will bring residents into Hamilton city centre, as well as further north along Lake Ontario to Toronto and the neighbourhoods of the GTA.
For grabbing your groceries, Lococo's Fruits & Veggies is an 8-minute drive. You are not far from great parks like Park and Fairgrounds Community Park.
