Central Burnaby stretches along Highway 1 from Burnaby Lake Regional Park in the east to Boundary Road in the west. It’s a family-friendly neighbourhood with several Secondary Schools, the Burnaby Hospital, and a range of Vancouver condos for sale, mostly in unique townhouse developments.

The east side of the neighbourhood between Highway 1 and Canada Way is an established residential area with a lot of single family homes and local park grounds. Over on the west side, near Canada Way and Boundary Road, is where you'll find condos for sale in Central Burnaby. There are nearby parks such as Avondale and Falaise Park, plus a shopping centre at the corner of Grandview and Boundary. To the south, Central Park and Metrotown Mall provide two of the best spots in Burnaby for shopping and outdoor recreation.

With the convenience of Highway 1, as well as several nearby SkyTrain stations, getting around Central Burnaby should be a walk in the park. In fact, you could walk across the neighbourhood from Kensington Avenue to Boundary in a little over an hour.

Groceries can be found at Buy-Low Foods which is a 11-minute walk and you'll find Dr Scott Hastings a 7-minute walk as well. For those days you just want to be indoors, look no further than Art Parts Film Services to keep you occupied for hours. You are a 4-minute walk from great parks like Harwood Park and Brentwood Town Centre Park Site.

If you are reliant on transit, don't fear, there is a TransLink BusStop (Southbound Douglas Rd @ Dominion St) only steps away. It also has (Bus) route 133 Holdom Station/edmonds Station nearby. Holdom Station Platform 2 Subway is also a 9-minute walk.
