Spend the morning at the Wychwood Barns Farmer’s Market, the afternoon wandering around beautiful and haunting Mt Pleasant Cemetery and then head to Silver City to catch the latest show.
Midtown has long been a favourite with Toronto Condo developers and the stats show that while the price per square foot is lower than that of Downtown, the steady increase in price over the last 10 years has proven a good investment. There are 13 neighbourhoods in Midtown, roughly 120 condos and a lot of new developments planned for the coming years. If you’re looking for a slower pace, lots and lots of green space and some of the top rated schools but with a great public transit hub and close proximity to all other areas of Toronto, look no further than Midtown.
Recommended nearby places to eat are Pizza Banfi, Shawarma Q and Ambiyan on Yonge. If you can't start your day without caffeine fear not, your nearby choices include Starbucks. Groceries can be found at Kitchen Table Grocery Store which is a 6-minute walk and you'll find Apotheca Compounding Pharmacy a 6-minute walk as well. Entertainment options nearby include The Hive Esports.
Getting around the area is made simpler with access to the TTC. ST CLAIR STATION - NORTHBOUND PLATFORM Subway stop is only a 9 minute walk. There is also AVENUE RD AT LONSDALE RD SOUTH SIDE BusStop, a short walk, with (Bus) route 142 Downtown/avenue Rd. Express, and (Bus) route 5 Avenue Road nearby. If you need to get on the highway often, Allen Rd and Lawrence Ave W has both on and off ramps and is within a 9-minute drive.
