Marpole is the oldest area in Vancouver and the first neighbourhood visitors traveling from the south see when they reach the city. It is an up-and-coming South Vancouver trendy community that has a lot to offer with easy access to the city and airport, plenty of green space, and a variety of restaurants to choose from. It’s mostly residential, and the Vancouver condos in Marpole are booming, with numerous new projects such as Marine Gateway and MC2 in the planning stages and some just completing.
Located in the southern edge of the city along the Fraser River and across from the Sea Island’s Vancouver International Airport, Marpole has many options for outdoor lovers. There are a lot of cozy coffee shops, restaurants, and local stores along 64th Avenue, where residents will quickly discover their new favourite place. And there is a lot of new and exciting changes coming to area, so it’s open for homeowner reinvention. A new Safeway is on the way and better cycling trails coming as well, making it definitely one of the hottest neighbourhoods in Vancouver.
Getting anywhere you want is quick and easy with a number of bus routes passing through Marpole. If you are driving, there is easy access to the Oak and Arthur Laing Bridges all ready to take you south of the mainland.
