You wake up slowly in Vancouver’s West Side, savouring that first stretch of the morning, the smell of a cup of coffee, the soft rays of sunlight filling your window through the trees. Before the streets come to life with people heading off to work, students ambling casually to campus, and the sounds of children’s laughter, bicycle bells, and trains. As if the streets and houses, the beaches and parks, have all decided to sleep in together, you find yourself part of a tranquil community like no other.

Vancouver’s West Side is comprised of many of the city’s wealthiest, trendiest, and most laid-back communities from the heights of Arbutus-Ridge and the grandeur of Shaughnessy to the bohemian vibes of Kitsilano and West Point Grey’s coveted, natural beauty. You’ll find a full mix of local artists and artisan shops, heritage estates and country clubs, bustling commercial strips, and picturesque green spaces from forest trails to sunny beaches, all with Vancouver condos to match.

Spanning from the westernmost point of Vancouver’s mainland, across Pacific Spirit National Park, roughly to highway 99, the West Side enjoys a long coastline, while still well connected to the rest of the city. If you’re seeking Vancouver condos for sale here, the only question is whether you plan to study or work at the University of British Columbia, learn to surf or sail at Jericho Beach, open up a new shop in “Kits”, or simply enjoy evening strolls through the open parks and wide boulevards of Arbutus. The West Side is a hugely popular area, drawing interest from investors, new developers, and potential homeowners.

Living in West Side condos is a smart move for anyone working in Vancouver, because the area enjoys an extensive bus route service that connects smoothly to Downtown and to the city’s unique SkyTrain. For drivers, the area is easy to get around with direct access to Highway 99, taking you wherever you need to go in the city.

There are a lot of great restaurants. If you can't start your day without caffeine fear not, your nearby choices include Tim Hortons. Look no further than Quadra West Park and Almond Park, which are both only steps away.

If you are reliant on transit, don't fear, there is a Bus Stop (Northbound Dunbar St @ W 18 Ave) not far. It also has route Nanaimo Station/dunbar, and route Brentwood Station/ubc nearby.
