The much-coveted Kerrisdale neighborhood has long been home to a vast ethnic mix of homeowners, drawn to massive old bungalows reflecting Spanish influence and quiet, winding streets. Though the inner region of Kerrisdale is almost exclusively houses, a wide variety of established Vancouver condos can be found throughout. With its charming European cafes and bakeries along West 41st Avenue, a variety of restaurants, and independent boutiques, Kerrisdale is a West Side neighbourhood worth keeping an eye on.

Some good places to grab a bite are Choices Markets and Land & Sea Restaurant & Bar. Venture a little further for a meal at one of the neighbourhood's restaurants. If you love coffee, you're not too far from Bean Around the World Coffees located at 1846 W 57th Avenue. Groceries can be found at Save-On-Foods which is an 8-minute walk and you'll find Pharmasave - Shannon Mews only a 14 minute walk as well. Love being outside? Look no further than Maple Grove Park, McCleery Park or McDonald Beach Dog Park, which are only steps away away.

Without a car, you can get around quite easily. The closest transit stop is a BusStop (Southbound West Blvd @ W 53 Ave) and is only a 5 minute walk, but there is also a Subway stop, Templeton Station Platform 1, a 27-minute walk connecting you to the TransLink. It also has (Bus) route 016 29th Avenue Station/arbutus nearby.
