Long thought to be the dividing line between Downtown and Midtown Toronto, Yonge and Bloor is the neighbourhood where it all happens. While always known as a shopping mecca, Toronto condo developers have taken notice and started building on some of the land that hadn’t been used to it’s greatest potential. There are now 25 condos here and a number of pre-construction condos soon to be brightening up the skyline. Yonge and Bloor has a great mixture of trendy, modern high-rises like Uptown Residences and established buildings like Tiffany Terrace that have been around for a while and are a significant part of the neighbourhood.

There are quite a few restaurants to choose from. Some good places to grab a bite are Sushi Shop and Sunset Grill. Venture a little further for a meal at Panago Pizza, Kibo Sushi House or Maja Indian Cuisine. If you love coffee, you're not too far from Starbucks located at 175 Bloor St E. Groceries can be found at Rabba Fine Foods which is a short distance away and you'll find Pace Pharmacy a 3-minute walk as well. Entertainment is close by, with Green Space On Church, Cineplex Cinemas Varsity and VIP and Imagine Cinemas only a 5 minute walk. With Sun Life Financial Museum + Arts Pass, The Gardiner Museum and Toronto Police Museum a 4-minute walk from your door, you'll always have something to do on a day off or weekend. For nearby green space, Rosehill Reservoir, George Hislop Park and Norman Jewison Park could be good to get out of your home and catch some fresh air or to take your dog for a walk. As for close-by schools, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is a 7-minute walk away.

Without a car, you can get around quite easily. The closest transit stop is a BusStop (BLOOR ST EAST AT CHURCH ST) and is nearby, but there is also a Subway stop, BLOOR STATION - SOUTHBOUND PLATFORM, not far connecting you to the TTC. It also has (Bus) route 300 Bloor danforth Night Bus nearby.
