A lovely place to call home, Roncesvalles is becoming one of Toronto’s most sought-after neighbourhoods for its proximity to sprawling High Park, easy access downtown, and quaint leafy streets. Once known primarily as the center of the city’s Polish community, Roncesvalles is now home to a more diverse range of residents enjoying the eclectic community of restaurants, cafes, and shops along its namesake street.

Some of our favourite conversion style Toronto lofts, like Robert Watson Lofts, offer condo convenience nestled among the Edwardian homes away from the main streets. There are some newer Toronto condos being planned for the coming years, and they promise to compliment the existing landscape and community vibe. Home a yearly Polish community Festival that draws people from far and wide to partake in regional food, music and culture. The Revue Cinema is as much part of the scenery as the many beautiful churches and parks, like the newly created Sorauren Park. If you want to get out and run, High Park is right next door and the popular restaurants of Parkdale and Little Portugal are great for brunch afterwards.

The King and Queen streetcars meet here so getting up to the subway or downtown are quick and easy. As well, The Queensway and Lake Shore Blvd are both just a quick trip south, ready to take you wherever you need to be.

Want to dine out? There are plenty of good restaurant choices not too far.Grab your morning coffee at Tim Hortons located at 175 Roncesvalles Ave. For groceries there is Mike's No Frills which is only a 4 minute walk.

If you are reliant on transit, don't fear, there is a Bus Stop (Lansdowne Ave at Rideau Ave South Side) a 3-minute walk. For drivers, the closest highway is Gardiner Expressway and is within a 4-minute drive, making it easier to get into and out of the city using on and off ramps on Dowling Ave.
