Kensington Market may be small but it is mighty. With a long history as a meeting place, food and clothing market, Kensington is just as popular and prominent as it was 100 years ago. This ever-changing neighbourhood has been home to the Jewish and Italian communities as well as Chinese and Caribbean and many more. The vibe of this eclectic place incorporates all it’s past history as well as it’s vibrant present even being proclaimed a National Historic Site of Canada in 2006. There aren’t a huge number of Toronto condos here, although this is a neighbourhood very much in demand with amazing fresh produce markets, restaurants and more.
