The landscape of East York has changed a lot over the years, with lots of new development condos being built and parks being created. One of the more established areas of Toronto, East York was a former municipality, amalgamated into the “Mega-City” in 1998.
East York condos are experiencing a boom right now, with a number of new developments happening in almost all of the 10 neighbourhoods. The area has long been known for its established neighbourhoods, amazing parklands and proximity to the Don Valley Parkway. There are around 30 condos in this area, divided by the Don River, with lots of new construction planned for the coming years.
There is a lot to see and do in East York and there are Toronto Condos For Sale, right in the heart of it all. Scenic on Eglinton is the first of a 3 building complex being built up near the Ontario Science Centre, if you’re an early riser, don’t forget to check out Evergreen Brick Works Farmers Market in Leaside, or the Todmorden Mills Park in Broadview North.
