Situated along Don Mills Road between Sheppard Avenue and Finch, the Don Valley Village is comprised of many semi-detached homes and modern high-rise Toronto condos. The area is sometimes called the “Four Corners” or else “The Peanut”, because of the central peanut-shaped land plot where Don Mills Road diverges east and west.

This neighbourhood hub is also where you’ll find The Plaza Peanut shopping centre, featuring a local grocery store, as well as the Oriole Community Centre. For more shopping options, the CF Fairview Mall is located in the south-east of the neighbourhood, with two-levels of brand name shops and retailers. Local parks fill the neighbourhood, including the parks and natural green spaces of the Don River Valley, perfect for hiking and bicycling.

The TTC Sheppard line services the neighbourhood, connecting the area to the Yonge-University subway. There are also local buses running along Don Mills Road. For drivers, the 404 and 401 Highways are easily accessed off Sheppard Avenue.

There are quite a few restaurants to choose from. Some good places to grab a bite are Mandarin Gardens and Harbour Fish and Chips. Venture a little further for a meal at Hung Fok BBQ Gourmet, 241 pizza or Mr. Gao's Gardens. If you love coffee, you're not too far from Tarts Treats and Coffee located at 1700 Sheppard Avenue E. Groceries can be found at Tone Tai Supermarket which is a 3-minute walk and you'll find Shoppers Drug Mart a 10-minute walk as well. SilverCity Fairview Mall Cinemas and Cineplex Cinemas Fairview Mall are both in close proximity and can be a great way to spend some down time. Love being outside? Look no further than Willowdale Off Leash Dog Area, Bestview Park or Glendora Park, which are only steps away away.

Transit riders take note, you are a short distance away to the closest TTC BusStop (DON MILLS RD AT GOODVIEW RD) with (Bus) route 10 Van Horne, (Bus) route 169 Huntingwood, and more. DON MILLS STATION - SUBWAY PLATFORM Subway is also a 10-minute walk. For drivers, it might be easier to get around the city getting on or off Hwy 404 and Sheppard Ave E, which is within a 4-minute drive.
