In the north-east side of North Vancouver City, the Grand Boulevard neighbourhood is aptly named for the main two-lane roadway that runs down the middle of it. There are fewer Vancouver condos for sale here, compared to Central Lonsdale for instance, but the unique mid-rise designs make interesting choices for potential homeowners.
For nearby shopping and dining, residents can head north along Grand Boulevard to the Lynn Valley Centre to enjoy a selection of retail outlets and a local pub. Alternatively, Park and Tilford Shops and Gardens is a short trip south, where a mix of boutique shops, cafes, landscaped gardens, and a movie theatre offers a great neighbourhood destination. The area has many outdoor green spaces from Keith Lynn Park to Greenwood Park in the north, plus the nearby natural expanses of the North Mountains.
Owning a vehicle in Grand Boulevard will be a real benefit for getting around, but bus routes along Keith Road connect to the rest of North Van, while Iron Workers Memorial Bridge is the surest bet for drivers heading into Downtown Vancouver. A passenger-only ferry service, the SeaBus, operates out of Lonsdale Quay for trips across the harbour.
Groceries can be found at Bunking Bakery A which is a 11-minute walk and you'll find North Shore Lymphedema Clinic only a 6 minute walk as well. If you're an outdoor lover, you are only steps away from Park and Brooksbank Park.
Getting around the area is made simple. There is Northbound Grand Blvd East @ E 17 St Bus Stop, only steps away, with route Lynn Valley/lonsdale Quay, and route Lynn Valley/downtown nearby.
