The neighbourhood of Glanbrook constitutes the south-western corner of Hamilton, and is best known for its aviation related history and as the home of the John C. Munro International Airport.
The previous municipality of Glanbrook was formed from two communities, Glanford and Binbrook, both of which have remained largely rural. As the city of Hamilton continues to expand, however, these communities are likely to experience new developments with many new Hamilton condos for sale.
Two-lane county roads are the norm in Glanbrook, with Highway 6 providing the fastest route to surrounding areas. Highway 403 will bring residents into Hamilton city centre, as well as further north along Lake Ontario to Toronto and the neighbourhoods of the GTA.
Nearby restaurants are few and far between. Venture a little further for a meal at one of the neighbourhood's restaurants. If you love coffee, you're not too far from Starbucks located at 1783 Stone Church Road. Nearby grocery options: Fortino's Supermarkets is a 8-minute drive. You are a 13-minute drive from great parks like Devil's Punch Bowl Conservation Area, Red Hill Valley Trail and Gage Park.
