We were incredibly impressed with Brandon's goal oriented action which exceeded any of our expectations. Having used realtors before, we were surprised as to how dedicated Brandon was to our needs which helped us secure a deal we could not have otherwise imagined to have. Brandon never left any questions unanswered and always responded promptly. We believe his quick actions to any pressing concern were why we got the deal we did. Furthermore, Brandon went above and beyond the typical expectations of an agent given our distance to the city we were moving to. I would highly recommend him over other brokers!

I always read about these wonderful experiences people have on Reddit with other total complete internet strangers and I finally have one of my own to share =) I have posted in different subs before to blah responses - sometimes funny but for the most part, totally useless and unhelpful. It had pretty much turned me off of reaching out to randoms on the internet. Then I saw a post by u/GTAHomeGuy and it was a very thoughtful response that seemed genuine and honest. Decided to follow him because I appreciated the quality of responses/posts. I'm new to the rental market in Toronto and it's scary here - landlord/roommate horror stories, scams, it's really hard to know who to trust. I was about to go see a rental property and I wanted to know what kinds of things I should ask. I reached out to him and the response I received was beyond my expectations! He could've literally just sent me 2-3 questions and I would've been happy. He not only gave me 20+ questions, but prepared me for things that I can expect from the viewing that are normal and NOT normal (e.g., documentation, questions that may be asked) - maybe second nature to those currently in the rental market but to someone new, could seem odd. On top of that, he provided some scenarios that could be uncomfortable but played out what may happen/how to respond. His response was a real sense of relief! Brandon (aka. u/GTAHomeGuy) was willing to continue to help me with anything else I may need, encouraged me to reach out to him again if I had any other questions, and asked for nothing in return. This is totally opposite of other realtors I've dealt with in the past who won't even look your way if it doesn't seem like you make a 6-figure income. He just seems like a kinda, hard working, trustworthy guy that wants to help people and that's really hard to find in the real estate industry in Toronto. I think my post answers most of these responses but to clarify: Yes, used his services by asking for advice via Reddit Beyond good - speaks for himself, literally! Def will reach out to him again 100000000% welcome others to reach out to him no BS needed, dude knows his stuff and if he doesn't will probably work to finding it out TRUE

I did not have the chance to use Brandon's services to find myself a new home, but I had many questions for him and he answered every single one extremely promptly and for free. I feel like I trust him over other real estate agents I've dealt with in the past and wouldn't hesitate to employ his services the next time I move.

Have you personally used his services, if not how has he helped you? Brandon recently helped my wife and I purchase our first home together in Toronto. He was extremely professional, honest and was able to give us timely feedback. None of the aforementioned are ever guarantees with a lot of agents. Is this guy any good? How so? Brandon is great! The major point was him listening - Brandon listened to what we wanted and our expectations and helped us make sure we were being realistic. As buying our first joint property had some hurdles we weren't used to Brandon was there all the way. The post sales support was great too! Brandon followed up to make sure we were comfortable and happy and provided us with some trusted contractors for some upgrades/work we wanted to do in our new home. Would you use him/reach out to him again? For sure! Having an honest relationship with your real estate agent is important, even more so when their primary care is finding the right place for you and not the commission fee at the end of the sale. Would you welcome others to reach out to you if they want to ask specific questions about Brandon? I would have no problem if other people wanted more details about our experiences. Do you think Brandon would BS someone or instead be transparent enough to be honest when not knowing something? Transparency was a big reason we went with Brandon and hope to continue the relationship in the future. The honesty and transparency is not something we've found when working with a few other agents in the Toronto area. Do you believe the statement to be true “Brandon will 100% leave you alone and never reach out unless you want to be contacted further”? Yes, we've never received unsolicited or sales type pitches from Brandon after our sales.

Landed in Toronto in the middle of snow! And I was getting nowhere in my apartment search on my own and the company paid hotel stay was coming to an end. I was super stressed out! Then I find Brandon! He was a life saver! He calmed me down. Offered great advice on housing and then took me around Toronto showing me plenty of places based on my criteria. He was always courteous, knowledgable and proactive. When I liked an apartment, he promptly put down an offer and followed up with the company until I got it. Brandon got me the apartment that I wanted! I am still in the same apartment and loving it! He is the guy to go for if you're looking for apartments / houses in the GTA area. I totally recommend him!

I just want to say Brandon is the most trustworthy person in the Real Estate world I have ever met. This guy will go above and beyond for you if you are serious about finding a property. He was sick on the day of taking us on our property tour, but he DID NOT cancel and still showed us around even though I know it must have been uncomfortable for him. He knew we wanted to find a place ASAP and worked through while being under the weather. Now to answer the questions Brandon had put above; Have you personally used his services, if not how has he helped you? Yes I have personally used Brandon to help find me a condo in downtown Toronto. After getting the necessary materials to Brandon, he found us a place within 4 days! Is this guy any good? How so? Brandon is great, I had no problems working with him whatsoever and hes got a great sense of humour. He made finding our condo fun, and his organization and attention to details are top notch. Would you use him/reach out to him again? I would 100% reach out to Brandon if I had any issues, he even called me after we moved in to offer his help if we run into any issues going forward. I don't plan on using Brandon anytime soon myself since we found such a perfect condo but if any of my friends or family are looking for a realtor, I will be recommending Brandon! Would you welcome others to reach out to you if they want to ask specific questions about Brandon? If anyone has any questions about Brandon, I would be happy to try to answer them. Do you think Brandon would BS someone or instead be transparent enough to be honest when not knowing something? Brandon is super transparent and WILL NOT bullshit you. He will ask you to get all your paperwork in order and do some research on properties with the criteria you like for yourself. If you put in the work at the beginning, Brandon will make sure to get you the property you want by the end. Do you believe the statement to be true “Brandon will 100% leave you alone and never reach out unless you want to be contacted further”? Brandon is the type of guy that wont overstep the boundaries. If you told him, you are not interested in his services anymore, I believe he would listen. He is a client first type of guy, so he will not try to pressure you to do anything you are uncomfortable with and the last thing he wants to do is make any of his clients feel uncomfortable. I just want to say, I usually don't leave reviews for anything, but I just had to for Brandon because he deserves to be recognized for all the hard work he puts in. Thanks again Brandon!

I first came across Brandon after my girlfriend and I had decided to make the move from Ottawa to Toronto. Knowing very little about Toronto real-estate other than its crazy competitive nature, I made a post on /r/askTO with some initial questions I had; a lot of people provided valuable insight, but Brandon in particular went above and beyond in providing really detailed and insightful advice. Even after asking a couple follow up questions, he continued to take time out of his day and provide even more valuable advice. After some further discussion, we decided to go with Brandon in order to help us find our first place in Toronto and I’m extremely glad we did. Right away he listened to what we were looking for and starting searching for properties that matched. Throughout the entire process, he remained patient and answered any questions we had. Looking for a place in a new city is no easy task (especially when you can only view properties on weekends when you visit), but Brandon made the entire process as easy and smooth as possible. Throughout all the viewings, he not only provided valuable feedback and insight on the units, but he would also give us feedback on the areas and on Toronto in general and being from out of town, this was really helpful for us. If there was something we really disliked about a particular unit, he made sure to make note of it and avoid similar units; the entire process felt very efficient. In addition, Brandon also took time to show us more units than most real-estate agents would because he really wanted us to find the perfect place. In the end, he not only found us the perfect place, but guided us through all the paperwork making the process virtually stress free. Not only will I continue to use Brandon as a real-estate agent as long as I’m in Toronto, but I would recommend him to anyone looking for one in a heartbeat. I truly believe he exemplifies what a good agent is in every way. He is extremely knowledgeable about Toronto real-estate and above all else, he truly cares about finding you the place you are looking for. House hunting is a stressful process, but working with Brandon made the process stress free and it felt like we were house hunting with a friend. I also really like the fact that despite having found our place and completed the process, it still feels like we can reach out to him anytime for advice or with any questions we may have surrounding real-estate. Thanks again for all the help Brandon!

I’ve been having major problems with my landlord and house and this person has always helped me. He guided me and gave me his insight and suggestions through out. He doesn’t even know me yet he has been helping me so much and as someone who is from the other side of the globe and has no real idea of how the housing rules work here, it really means a lot to me. I’ve asked his advice multiple times and he has always provided me with valuable insight even though he doesn’t gain anything from it. That itself should give anyone an idea about what kind of a person he is. Thank you so much for being so kind! We always hear about how Canadians are nice people. You’re a great example of that!

Here's my story of how Brandon helped me when I had given up all hope and that's why I think he is a lifesaver and why you should absolutely use his services as a realtor. I had always paid my rent on time, kept the place clean (spotless) and had no issues with my landlord. But that was not enough for him. He decided to "sell the place", which is fine and was his right. Except that he would refuse to give me an N12, as the law says. How did I know he was not selling it? I had very few "buyers" for home viewing and the guy who finally got the place walked in and walked out in ten seconds. There was no way this person was living here or had purchased this condo. I didn't know what to do as my landlord would flat out refuse to give me an N12. I turned to Reddit specifically /r/askto and started engaging with Brandon who had replied to my posts and told me that he was a realtor. Brandon was a life saver like I said and I actually don't mean it lightly. He would explain things calmly and wrote long paragraphs, explaining me my rights and in case he was not sure, pointing me to the right place (the LTB). He even sent me his phone number and asked me to call him. At no point did I feel that Brandon did this so that I could use his service. This was really a big deal for me as I was going through health issues and had to deal with a lying landlord. Had it not been for Brandon and one other member of the forum, I don't know what I would have done. He even consoled me reminding me that not all landlords are like this (and that's very true since my current landlord is a saint). My landlord continued to fight with me over the N12 and finally agreed to give compensation instead. I had no idea how that worked so again I turned to Brandon. I wish I could share the long paragraphs he wrote explaining me what to be careful about. I am glad this ordeal is behind me. I finally moved in to my brother's place after getting kicked out. My former unit was up for rent exactly two days later after I had left and just as Brandon had predicted. He then instructed me towards the next steps. Remember, all this without expecting anything in return. I was indebted to Brandon and asked him how I could pay him. He said he needs nothing except my goodwill. I offered to make a donation in his name and he suggested a place. I then gifted him gold on Reddit - the least I could do. I am not planning to move shortly as my new landlord is great but if I do, I plan to go with Brandon. Why am I writing this? Well if you were suffering from health problems and your landlord wanted to kick you out and someone offered you a helping hand, you would be writing this same text. I have been on Reddit for a long time (check my history) and I have never written a long post thanking someone. But Brandon deserves it - use his services and you won't be disappointed. At the end of the day, it's about people and the relations you make.

My one year lease is soon coming to term and Brandon helped me navigate through the process. I had a lot of questions about my options going forward, types of notices, illegal eviction and methods of payment and he was very knowledgeable and responsive. I highly recommend him, thanks again Brandon!

I made a post asking about my rights as a subtenant and Brandon reached out to help answer my questions. He offered to review the agreement and see if he could help me out with anything. Is this guy any good? How so? He's fantastic. The best thing about our interaction was that he was friendly and approachable. He really does mean it when he says he's here to give advice no strings attached. I really appreciated it. Would you use him/reach out to him again? Yes. I'm currently renting and starting to be curious about buying. I'm still not sure if it is the right route for me but it's something I've been researching more and more lately and I'm sure Brandon will have some great advice and insight on my situation. Have you personally used his services, if not how has he helped you? I made a post asking about my rights as a subtenant and Brandon reached out to help answer my questions. He offered to review the agreement and see if he could help me out with anything. Would you welcome others to reach out to you if they want to ask specific questions about Brandon? Sure! Our interaction was short, sweet, and helpful. Do you think Brandon would BS someone or instead be transparent enough to be honest when not knowing something? I don't get the BS-er vibe. Do you believe the statement to be true “Brandon will 100% leave you alone and never reach out unless you want to be contacted further”? Yes because that's exactly what he did.

I came across Brandon's posts on Reddit, after being notified that my landlord was planning to re-take possession of their house for family use. The posts were very useful, and encouraged anyone to contact Brandon if they had questions, so I took him up on the offer, and am really glad I did! Have you personally used his services, if not how has he helped you? Technically, I guess I haven't used his services, but he has helped me a ton with advice, insight and guidance. He helped when we were pretty worried about being evicted, which really settled our concerns. Our current plan is to search for a new place to rent on our own, but to use Brandon's services if we're unable to find a suitable place independently. 2. Is this guy any good? How so? I think so! He took time out of his days to chat with and call a random Redditor. The help he offered was all really sound advice. Plus, he seems like a really friendly and easy going guy, seemed genuinely interested in making sure our situation worked out alright. 3. Would you use him/reach out to him again? 100% I would. I've contacted him a few times now for follow-up questions, and each time he's been more than willing to help. I also plan to contact him to work with us in finding a home if we can't pin one down on our own. 4. Would you welcome others to reach out to you if they want to ask specific questions about Brandon? Sure, that wouldn't be a problem at all! 5. Do you think Brandon would BS someone or instead be transparent enough to be honest when not knowing something? He doesn't strike me as the BSer type. He was pretty transparent and honest in all of our dealings, which I really appreciated. 6. Do you believe the statement to be true “Brandon will 100% leave you alone and never reach out unless you want to be contacted further”? I don't think Brandon has contacted me once. He's always encouraged me to reach out if I have any questions, but has never initiated the conversation, always leaving it up to me if/when we chatted.

My parents have their house on the market and Brandon is not even the listing agent. Yet, he took his time to answer all the questions I had that my actual listing agent was being wishy-washy about. Brandon tells you everything you need to hear even if that includes things you don't want to hear because he has your best interest at heart. Read below for more info on my experience :) Have you personally used his services, if not how has he helped you? I never paid Brandon anything at all and part of me was expecting to not get a lot back at first. PLOT TWIST. Brandon was literally super patient with me and explained everything that I did not quite understand even though he was not my agent like I mentioned above. I came to Brandon with one idea in mind and left with a couple more well thought out ideas. He gives you what you want and does not expect anything back. He is honest but extremely respectful at the same time. Is this guy any good? How so? We can all tell when a realtor is trying to say things just to make/keep us happy. We can all ALSO tell when someone knows what they are talking about with research to back it up. Brandon is the second type of realtor. Honest. Straight forward. No BS. He literally gave me the market stats for where I live and it's not even his primary selling area. Now, me being me I had to double check to make sure he's right and he was. That's how I knew Brandon had quite a bit of experience in this field. Over 15 years like he told me afterwards. Super knowledgeable realtor. Would you use him/reach out to him again? I would not only reach out to him again BUT I would even hire him to be my realtor. Only reason this hasn't happened yet is because it's my parents' house and not mine so yeah. Would definitely put my trust and future of the house in Brandon's hands. Would you welcome others to reach out to you if they want to ask specific questions about Brandon? I have not heard of any other realtor that is willing to spare the time to give out advice to anyone they don't even fully know. So, yes I would definitely recommend Brandon to everyone I know. If you have any question in mind, don't even hesitate and just ask you won't regret it. Do you think Brandon would BS someone or instead be transparent enough to be honest when not knowing something? Absolutely not. He specifically told me before I called him that he would not know the specifics as he has not looked into the property too deeply but that he would still give me general advice for that area. And that's what he did. No BS at all during the time we spoke. Do you believe the statement to be true “Brandon will 100% leave you alone and never reach out unless you want to be contacted further”? This statement is correct 100%. Told him I would be doing this survey for him as a way of saying thank you for his time about a week ago but I was super busy. He never haggled me to get this done. Just my own will to help Brandon out so other people can see what they can expect from Brandon. I just want to say thank you Brandon for your time and patience. That's the least I could have done for you. Best of luck in the future :)

I had been looking for a new place for almost 2 years. I tried getting a real estate agent from condos.ca. Unfortunately, I had very little luck with him. He was unable to get me a single viewing for weeks. I did most of his job. When we finally got a viewing, he would push me to make decisions. I did not feel comfortable with him at all. Luckily, my friend introduced me to Brandon. I called him, he explained his procedure to me, and within a few days I had 8 viewings. The whole process from calling him to signing a lease took me about two weeks. Brandon is extremely professional, very funny, and an all-around good dude. We would even have long conversations which had nothing to do with real estate. He is always available to help. He keeps you updated on the status of your application. He explains all the different forms that need to signed, in a simple way. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone.
