Narrow your search with the condos.ca map tool

Looking for a place in a specific part of the city? The easiest way to do that is with the map tool on condos.ca. You can select one neighbourhood or several – or draw your own boundaries.

Don’t have a condos.ca account? Sign up to get access to all our search tools and full listings.

Here’s a quick step-by-step for using maps on desktop and mobile.

Using maps on your desktop

Start by choosing “For sale” or “For rent” in the navigation – that will take you to a list view and a map view of available listings. To narrow it down, set filters to specify price, number of bedrooms, square footage, etc. and type in a city or neighbourhood (e.g. Vaughan, King West) into the search bar. Then click on the area you’re interested in to see listings.

To narrow an area down to specific neighbourhoods, click on the area and use the down arrow to show available neighbourhoods within that area.

You can also select neighbourhoods by clicking on them on the map.

Want to create your own geographic area? Use the “draw” feature that appears in the top right corner of the map to create a custom shape. Double click to complete the shape.

All available properties that match your search filter criteria and chosen neighborhoods will pop up – they appear as a price, or if there are multiple listings close together, you’ll see “2 units.”

Click on any unit on the map for an at-a-glance overview of a property – you’ll see a thumbnail photo, address, number of beds/baths, address, name of building, number of parking spots, square footage, maintenance fee and how long it’s been on the market.

Click on the overview to access the listing. You’ll be able to see photos and general info, but you’ll need to be signed in to your condo.ca account to see all the listing features, including price history and square footage.

Using maps on your phone

Sign into the condos.ca app and choose “For sale” or “For rent” in the bottom navigation – that will show you ALL available listings. You can set filters to specify price, number of bedrooms, square footage, etc.

To search specific neighbourhoods, select “Areas” in the navigation or type a city or neighbourhood into the search bear. Or you can scroll to those areas and tap the box that says “tap to select King West” (or whatever area the map is showing). You can select as many areas as you want, or tap to deselect.

All available properties that match your criteria and chosen neighbourhoods will pop up – they appear as a price, or if there are multiple listings close together, you’ll see “2 units.” Tap on any unit for an at-a-glance overview of a property, and tap each overview to go to the full listing. You’ll need to be signed into your condos.ca account to access all listing features.
