Condo Living in South Cambie
Life is booming in South Cambie, with numerous new Vancouver condos in the planning stages and some just completing. The area has attracted all walks of life to its quaint, tree-lined streets. As a small West Side neighbourhood, the arrival of condos can mean big changes, but developers do promise to fit in with the existing landscape and vibe of the neighborhood.
There are a number of high profile restaurants here such as La Brasserie, Pronto and The Shameful Tiki Room. Expect great shopping, at a number of independent clothing, shoe, and novelty stores. With all that to offer, South Cambie is poised to become soon the downtown hub as it was planned in 1929. Despite it’s small size there is green space aplenty here. Oak Meadow Park is a great place to sit with a coffee and Queen Elizabeth Park has some amazing trails.
It’s easy to get around if you live at South Cambie, with two new SkyTrain stations as well as bus lines travelling east and west on Oak Street and King Edward Avenue.
