The much-coveted Kerrisdale neighborhood has long been home to a vast ethnic mix of homeowners, drawn to massive old bungalows reflecting Spanish influence and quiet, winding streets. Though the inner region of Kerrisdale is almost exclusively houses, a wide variety of established Vancouver condos can be found throughout. With its charming European cafes and bakeries along West 41st Avenue, a variety of restaurants, and independent boutiques, Kerrisdale is a West Side neighbourhood worth keeping an eye on.
Great dining options abound here, with almost every kind of restaurant you could imagine, as well as some great boutiques and major chain stores. Planted between three golf courses and clubs, it is a neighbourhood that will appeal to the leisurely side of life, while still very close to Granville and Downtown for a bit of excitement. There is green space aplenty here, and great views to match. Malkin Park is a great place to sit with a coffee and Kerrisdale Park has some amazing trails.
Living in a condo in Vancouver’s Kerrisdale neighbourhood gives you all sorts of choice when it comes to getting around. The SkyTrain runs along Cambie Street and N10, 016 and 49 buses are within walking distance to get you anywhere in Vancouver.
